I've been pretty silent on Deviant Art for a while, so I figure that I should probably let you guys all know what's going on.
I haven't been doing a whole lot with the Celestia cursor set, still stuck on her, but that does not mean that I have not been fiddling around with pixels. In March I was scouted by a small game design group, Starlight Studios. Starlight Studios had previously made a Friendship is Magic MMO, but that has been terminated since they had received a cease and desist order from Hasbro, which they have honored. What the group is presently working on is something they have announced to the public as "
Project: Cygnus," for which I am providing pixel art for.
The actual content of
Project: Cygnus is being kept under wraps, so I can't say much, but I will provide a link to a public announcement that Starlight Studios has made. (
Info here.)
Once
Project: Cygnus is officially released, I might submit the pixel work that I have done for it.
In other news, I finally got an interview- I have been unemployed for a while, and callbacks have been few with having only a seasonal job history -and at a place that I am actually interested. I'm waiting to hear back from the manager, and if all goes well I shall begin working in a music store. (Instruments, accessories, and lessons are the products and services that they offer.) I, myself, don't know how to play, but I'd love to learn. I have an electric bass taunting me to do something with it, but haven't had the means to really learn how to play it.
I suppose that is all for now. I should probably begin making monthly updates just so that I don't become mysteriously silent.
As always, you can follow me on
Facebook.
[EDIT] And about Bronycon, I won't be attending, but some of Starlight Studios will be. The link above pertaining Project: Cygnus also concerns Starlight Studios' appearance at Bronycon, so attendees can get a demo of the project that I and the rest of the group have been working on.
