Deviation Actions
1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?
•It will have been 8 years as of next month.
2. What does your username mean?
•It's a Naruto character, although I will be changing that to Sullindir eventually.
3. Describe yourself in three words.
4. Are you left or right handed?
•Right.
5. What was your first deviation?
•It's interesting looking back through the gallery...
6. What is your favourite type of art to create?
•I favor penwork. As tedious as hatching can be, the repetitious nature of it can be easily lost in.
7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
•Impressionism is an interesting beast. How a number of imprecise and chaotic marks can marry into a calm and cohesive image is impressive. The amount of color theory that goes into it is impressive.
8. What was your first favourite?
•It would appear that my first favorites were origami and cosplay.
9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
•I like to focus my attention on traditional artists. With the ease of access that digital media presents, I feel like many are losing touch with tangible crafts.
10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
•There was a member that went by Niki-Cho who I really enjoyed speaking with before she was encouraged to remove herself and her work from the site. I have been enjoying the highly-stylized, robust nature of Gashi-gashi's work.
11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
•I have been chatting with ChibiKitsuneWarrior for years. (I should really message her again; it has been some time...)
12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
•The multi-cultural aspect of the community is of considerable interest. I wouldn't say any one has impacted me momentously, but the open view of how other cultures and communities experience art is incredible.
13. What are your preferred tools to create art?
•I prefer to work in pen and pixel.
14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
•Location is irrelevant. it is time that is needed.
15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
•I suppose this question will share sentiment with 12: the veins of communication that have opened are fantastic.

Username Change Incoming
Heads up! I will be updating my dA username so that it aligns with my online presence on other platforms. After this change I will no longer appear here as "kirigakurenohaku", but rather as "Sullindir". I hope this doesn't cause too much confusion. I know I have been largely silent here and on other forms of social media for some time. I'm sorry for the neglect, however it has not been without reason. There is a project that I have been working on during that time that is coming closer to fruition, and I expect that I will be able to share more information about that shortly. Until next time, Damien "Sullindir" Allen Facebook Etsy
Linocut Printing
In high school I got my first exposure to linoleum block printing, using just black ink. I got a second taste of it in college a few years ago as a small edition of 3-5 prints with 3 layers. It would seem that these projects have resonated with me as I have gone and ordered all of the supplies that I need to start printing at home. In fact, I am in the middle of an edition of prints right now.
As of writing this, I have 3 layers of blue and 2 layers of green down, with additional green, red, and black layers to add. It takes a couple of days for the ink to dry enough to lay down another layer, so it will be a week or two before I have some f

The RPG Primer (Trailer and Steam Greenlight)
I know that I have been silent for a while, but I have a good reason. What was initially being kept relatively quiet, I now have the opportunity to show off. I have been producing sprites for a project entitled "The RPG Primer: A step-by-step GUIDE". It is a humorous title that satirizes tropes common among RPGs while paying homage to them. For those interested, I have posted the game's first trailer below. After that, I welcome any of you with a Steam account to visit our Greenlight entry and cast a vote; it is by your favor that we will get to bring this game to fruition.
With that said, you can expect some of my sprites to be uploaded so
